From May to August, 2013, Ginny and Kerry Dennehy will cycle 8,000 kilometers across Canada. Each turn of the wheel says ENOUGH is ENOUGH to the stigma attached to mental illness, to a lack of resources for sufferers, and to losing our children, friends, and family members to the disease.
Raising both awareness and funds for mental health, The Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation will pedal to communities throughout the country, working to ensure that mental health issues are addressed at every level. Along the way, they'll share their personal story and passion for saving lives through education about mental illness.
The ultimate goal? To fund initiatives that provide resources for sufferers who need them, and to establish a Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre in every province and territory in Canada.
